There are different ways in which you can use the fire blanket.

1. Place the fire blanket on any kind of fire (campfire, stovetop, etc.)
2. Cover the fire completely with the burning blanket
3. Once all of the flames have gone out, remove the blanket from around your fire

2. Approach the fire and position the fire blanket over the flames.
3. Ensure the fire blanket overlaps the surrounding area to prevent the escape of flames and smoke.

5. If using the fire blanket on a person, roll the blanket around them and ask them to "stop, drop, and roll"
