● Temperature: Up to +550°C.
● Excellent insulation properties.
● Extra soft, thick and pliable.
● Inorganic, sterile and incombustible.
● Good resistance to oils, solvents and most chemicals.
● Low level of leachable chlorides and fluorides.
● Low thermal conductivity- approx.0.05 w/m.k.
● Fiberglass tape with aluminum foil or silicone rubber can be customized.
Product Application
● Insulating electric and induction-type furnace power supply leads
● Securing high-temperature, non-PSA insulation (such as asbestos and glass) in high-temperature areas.
● Splicing silicone-covered glass wire where splices require more abrasion resistance and mechanical strength than can be provided by silicone tapes. Insulating Class “H” dry-type transformer leads.
● Used in a variety of coil/transformer and motor applications, including an outer wrap or bobbin wound coils, banding arbor wound coils, lead pad hold down,end turn and lead anchor and connection.
● Suitable for use as thermal insulation to pipes, exhausts and vessels.
● Used for pre-heat insulation, oven and furnace linings, seals, gaskets and welding applications for stress relief.
